It’s true, aerial photography and drone footage are all the rage. And, for good reason. If you are a business owner there are countless reasons why you want (and need) aerial captures. Here are just a few that could massively benefit your bottom line:

• Your business is in a picturesque area – for obvious reasons you need to showcase this for potential customers – especially if THEY will be spending significant time with you! Perfect for outdoor restaurants, wineries and the like.
• Maybe your business has expansive inventory that can’t be seen in its entirety from a grounded vantage point, but from above….it could all be taken in and realized by your customer. Conceptually perfect for businesses such as car dealerships or Real Estate Agents wanting their listings to not look so amateurish!
• You are judged (consciously or unconsciously) by how much effort and pride you take in the advertising you do for your business. Don’t think for a minute that your customers aren’t making note of how much pride you take in every aspect of your business – including the image you choose to put across to them ahead of time! This is especially true if your competition is actually doing a good job with this.

The Drone Pilot You Hire…

So, if you are convinced that getting some aerial photos and/or video for your business (or event!) would be a great idea then there are still a few things to consider…

The Drone Pilot you hire should have some experience: Seems like a no-brainer but you’d be surprised at the number of folks that buy a drone and all of a sudden consider themselves experts. Not the case! Flying a drone requires – at the very LEAST – a steady hand and the ability to feather the controls. That only comes with practice.

The Drone Pilot you hire needs to know what the hell to do with the images/video they capture: If I had a nickel for every pilot I have seen put some images up on a website or social media platform that they simply took directly off of their SD card! And it’s obvious, too. The lighting levels look horrendous. The color balance looks like a 1974 Polaroid. The list goes on and on.

If you are going to give me your hard-earned money then you can be sure that I am going to return to you aerial photographs and/or video that you can be more than proud of. In fact, if I myself am not pleased with what I capture for you, I will come back another day for another shoot on my own dime (and time). Guaranteed.
