When Barbara Thompson and her husband Steve reached out to me to redesign their website I was quite honored. Mostly because they already had a perfectly functional website. However, they explained to me that they had taken over the business from some friends of their and, well…they just wanted to make everything “their own”, understandably so. I work closely with Barbara over a period of about 2-and-a-half weeks and came up withe a design for their e-commerce website that she and Steve were very pleased with!

I knew Joan, the director of The United Way of Bradford County, from her previous position as CEO of The Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield, PA. We had worked together for almost 3 years on the Animal Care site and so, transitioning an old version of the United Way website together just seemed like a natural fit.

Shelly Cilip and her husband, Dr. Michael Cilip have worked together since the second iteration of the AgeLess website in 2008. Since that time, the site has undergone many many updates and changes! The goal here was to carry their branding out to every aspect of every page of their website and make it elegant across all devices.

Todd Boyles (Associate Director of Compliance & Support Services) and Lisa Musslman (President/CEO) of Martha Lloyd Community Services in Troy, PA reached out to me in October of 2022 in hopes of giving their current website a slight makeover. I will be honest and say that the site as it was was actually very nice! It only took a little extra Photoshop elbow grease and a bit of creativity in terms of structure to achieve the look I (and they) were after. Hats off to their previous web person! At any rate I believe the new design works well.

My pooch has been a loyal patron/patient at Corning Animal Hospital for years so when Dr. Clay and his staff approached me for an updated look to their website, I didn’t hesitate for a second. I love all the design work I get to do, but being a dog lover from waaay back, this one was especially enjoyable.

In October of 2021, Maunallen Gregory, President, Founder and Chairman of the Board for Luke’s Hidden Haven reached out to me to create a website for her special sanctuary for severely abused dogs. She received recommendation from fellow board member and former CEO of Animal Care Sanctuary, Joan Reese, that we (me 🙂 ) at Thirsty Fish could create exactly the website the good people at Luke’s Hidden Haven deserved. After a few false starts toward the end of 2021 we (Luke’s and Thirsty Fish) began design work in earnest in Febraruy of 2022 and Launched in early April. There are still thing to add to the website but the overall structure is there. As with all animal rescue clients, I feel honored to have served these folks and the dogs they care for.

Melissa Montopoli threw up a flag on facebook asking anyone in her friends list if they knew a web designer who was trustworthy and that would be willing to help her out with her new business endeavor – a healthcare
practice that was based on home visits. Luckily we had 2 mutual friends and they each tagged me in her post. Melissa and I communicated solely through email and a couple of very quick phone calls. Her site came together rapidly and I was quite pleased with the results, as was she. Check it out.

In 2018, Beverly Klassel owner o f MInd Body Soul of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, reached out to me after seeing my tagline on another client’s website (AgeLess SPA). After several months of working together on both the design of the website as well as its booking capabilities, Beverly and I came up with a design that each of us were pleased with. FYI – the booking software used (in case you’re in need was / is called ‘Bookly’.

ANIMAL CARE SANCTUARY is one of the oldest and largest “no-kill” facilities in the country. In 2019 a staff member reached out to me hoping to find someone to take over web duties. I have been working with ACS ever since and have enjoyed watching the excellent work they do with the pooches and kitties as well as their community as a whole.

One of The English Gardener’s chief operators reached out to me so that I could take over their site. Basically, the company that formerly maintained their website wasn’t quite as responsive as the staff at The English Gardener would have liked. While the “look and feel” of the website largely remains the same, there were areas that they asked me to give a minor “face lift” to. The folks at The English Gardener create some of the most amazing landscapes in the Buffalo/Amherst NY area. Be sure to check them out.

Marjorie Seiderman contacted me in 2009 in order to put together a website for her, at-the-time new business, Bluebird Trail Farm. Since the time of launch, Bluebird Trail Farm has enjoyed much success online. Local families are finding Marjorie’s site, joining her CSA, booking birthday parties, performing internships and much more.

Having found their website via a simple google search, I contacted John Fitz about the possibility of redesigning his firm’s website in a mobile friendly manner. After some simple emails and phone calls, the results are as follows.

Attorney Peter Allen Weinmann really liked the look of the website his firm had been using for years. However, he did understand that his website was entirely non-responsive to different sized screens and devices. Peter asked me to take the look of his current website and do my best to duplicate the look, make it mobile-friendly and add any other improvements I thought the site might need. This is the result.

Russell Howe was looking for a simple 3 page website that he could (eventually) use to sell his custom hand-made turkey calls. He was looking for something that reflected the look and feel of a website geared toward hunters, hunting, and the outdoors in general – yet still being modern and mobile friendly. This is the result.
